These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kanyon.email application ("Kanyon", "Service") operated by The Reasoning Company ("we", "us", "our"). By using Kanyon, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Kanyon. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Your Account

You sign in to Kanyon through your existing email provider (Google, Microsoft, or IMAP). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. What Kanyon Does

Kanyon is a personal CRM that connects to your email and calendar to help you manage contacts, organize your inbox, track follow-ups, and draft communications. Kanyon uses AI to assist with email drafting, contact summaries, and scheduling.

4. Your Data

You own your data. We do not claim ownership of your emails, contacts, or any content you create in Kanyon.
You grant us a limited license to access, process, and display your data solely to provide the Service.
You can revoke access and delete your data at any time by disconnecting your accounts or contacting us.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use Kanyon for spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or our systems
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
Exceed reasonable usage limits or abuse API access

6. AI Features

Kanyon includes AI-powered features (chat assistant, email drafting, contact summaries). These features:

Are provided as assistive tools and may produce inaccurate or incomplete outputs
Should not be relied upon as the sole basis for important decisions
Process your email context through third-party language model providers as described in our Privacy Policy

You are responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-generated content before sending it.

7. Email Tracking

Kanyon includes email open tracking via a tracking pixel. By using this feature, you agree to comply with all applicable laws regarding email tracking and electronic communications in your jurisdiction.

8. Subscriptions & Billing

Kanyon offers free and paid subscription tiers
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service
You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues through the end of the billing period
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

9. Service Availability

We strive to keep Kanyon available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kanyon and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Kanyon at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting your accounts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
